Hey there, I'm Kat.

Not a doctor. Not a therapist. Just someone who got very, very curious.

It started with my own questions about energy, goals, habits, hormones, why some weeks everything clicks and others nothing does. Then my friends started asking the same ones. So I did what any reasonable nerd would do: I read everything I could find. Books, academic papers, studies, more books.

Turns out there’s a lot of fascinating, well-researched science sitting quietly behind the things we wonder about every day, and not nearly enough of it written in a way that’s actually useful.

Professionally I work in data science, or as my Dad says “I make AI”. It mostly means I think in patterns, question everything, and have a slight addiction to evidence. Everything is data. That lens shapes everything I write here.
